My main computer has crashed a few times tonight, so keeping it simple
here and praying I can get the post out. Vecteezey and Brusheezy are related products
from the same folks. In both cases they provide a social community
focused on support a specific type of visual or graphic art or tool.
Brusheezy was first and focused on Photoshop brushes, providing access
to some very nice specialized tools for making very lovely art.
Vecteezy is focused on vector art.

It is interesting hanging out with folks who do a lot of digital
graphics. Often then will have a favorite tool which dominates their
artistic style. Believe it or not, I have one friend who will only use
Microsoft Paint! While I do use Photoshop and Illustrator and Aviar.y
and GIMP and other tools, my absolute favorite was the "draw" (or
vector portion) of SuperPaint. I used it for drafting quilt patterns,
and have found everything since to be cumbersome and overkill for what
I needed. I tend to use different tools for different tasks, and
switch from tool to tool even when one tool might do all of the
functions. Just my personal style. What I am trying to say is that
while I love Aviar.y, which is a graphic arts tools and creation
community, I believe there is still value and usefulness to these
sorts of niche tools in addition to those which are broader and more
comprehensive.
