Crow Tattoo Sleeve Concept Art

It's a lousy photo, but this is the concept art by Tracy Zumwalt for the completion of my right sleeve - which will cover the rest of my right arm - mostly forearm. I love how he stylized the crows and how some of them aren't even complete forms - just portions of birds.

As often seems to happen, the design is growing and changing as it's implemented and he's actually hand-drawing quite a lot directly onto my arm instead of using transfers.

We're only about 10 hours in so far, so I'm not going to post any photos of the work itself just yet. It will probably have progressed to a photo-worthy point in a month or so. Right now the inside of my elbow is a tender, scabby, peely mess. Whee!

And once this is all done the bunnyfish piece on my right leg will get one last session to finish it off.

Hrm. I just took a look at my set of tattoo photos for the first time in a while and realized I've completely neglected to post photos of my left sleeve in its completed state. I'll have to fix that.

Concept art representing a possible front end to an open source API.
Primarily the user selects products for the Comet database to build up a selection of owned products for easy reference.
The user may then upload images of the products in place at home, and share these views accross other popular social network sites. Each product would link back to the Comet product detail page.

This concept could open up the access to the Comet product database accross multiple platforms and draw in a wider audience.
